1st Graduation
My son's accomplished a lot in his first year. I can keep going on and on and on telling you his firsts as most mothers would do but I have to admit that the biggest accomplishment both for me and my baby is weaning him from breastmilk. He's 13months and I believe it's time for him to move on to the next step. The first time he ever went without nursing for for a full day was on July 16. I try to wean him as slow as I can so that my body will also adjust slowly to this new change.
Aden is a "high maintenance" baby. I often wonder what I did to agitate his mood swings. Luckily I get this peace of mind whenever I talk to moms who are in the same boat as I am that boys are really different and that I shouldn't ever compare him with other kids. Despite all the sacrifices, I would rather have my baby cling to me than ignore me as if I didn't exist.
