Mmma-mi
Aden finally called me MOMMY! He’s been saying “ma-ma” forever but he refers to his parents as “dadi & dadi” instead of “mami & dadi”. We first heard him say “mmma-mi” early morning of Sept 2, Friday, but we weren’t sure if he was referring to me.
Then for the past couple of days we tell him to say “mommy” then he says “daddy” as if he’s making fun of his parents on purpose. He says mommy all day long while playing with his toys but when he looks at me, he’d still call me “daddy”.
Today was different and it was very emotional for me. Words are not enough to describe the feeling of having my son finally call me “Ma-mi”.
