Mommy's Soul Window

I joined another playgroup for Maia and today was our first attendance. Maia was the youngest in the group being 3months old. Most of the kids are around a year old and younger. Some are just starting to walk, some are starting to eat solid foods, others are starting to say their first word and some, like Maia are not even sitting or rolling over on their own yet. It was fun and interesting at the same time. I remember when I first attended Aden's playgroup I was so quiet because I was shy and all I did was observe the group. Now, they can't even stop me from talking. haha!! Today was pretty similar. I still observed then towards the end, I finally warmed up. I've met a couple of people in this group before from bunco (another group I meet up with...) which makes it more comfortable.

I've been excerting effort to get to know people and meet new friends in our area. So far, it's been nice and I've reached the point where everytime I go somewhere nearby, may it be the grocery, the mall or the park, for some reason I bump into someone I know.
