Happy New Year!
It's been almost a year since I last wrote an entry on this blog and it's been forever since I last posted some pictures online. In fact, I didn't even post pictures from our trip to the Philippines last year!
A lot has definitely happened during the past year. The best is the new addition to our family - Maia Alexis Poggenpohl. She was born on Nov. 25th, 2006. If you're wondering... Yes, I got pregnant as soon as I got back but honestly, it was a planned pregnancy. Aden's been so good to the new baby from day 1. Now, after having both kids, I can't even imagine life without them. I've always dreamed of having my own family but never expected to ever have one. I've been blessed with a wonderful, loving, understanding and patient husband and 2 perfect kids. When I was younger, I pictured myself to either be a single parent or be single forever. Not that I have doubts or have low self esteem but that was simply my exposure growing up. Lucky for me, I found Mr. Right!

I mentioned to a couple of my friends that I've been through an emotional roller coaster this past year and as much as I should write that stuff down, I'm not going to. Gotta keep negative vibes away at all times, right? Unfortunately, I have to admit when I'm mad, I can be mistaken to either be an AM radio announcer or an auctioner. haha! So to my friends who got tired of my complaints, I'm really sorry but thank you so much for listening. Thank you so much for all your love and support. And thank you for making my family part of your family.
Cheers to 2007!
